I study Communication and Research Methods at uni, which is a fun way of saying 'Made up Words'.
Seriously, my Word document assignments have so many red underlines its actually bad when I see a non-underlined word, because it means that I've probably spelled it wrong. We need all those complex Latin based words, because otherwise people will realise all we really do is just read data and analyse it.
Both my textbook and my lecturer are funny, which is good, because the course is as dull as watching paint dry. My textbook has ridiculous examples, and my teacher makes constant reference to her home life, including anecdotes about her husband and son. She mentioned one story last week where one of her equations wasnt working properly, and she was on the verge of crying, trying to figure it out. It's a comforting thought when I'm sitting in front of my computer late at night doing the same thing.
